Oh the stories I could tell.
We discovered the Pain Killer on Jost Van Dyke with Frances and Chris. It was our first stop on a BVI’s sailing trip in the late 1990’s.
A couple of years later, we convinced Cheeseburger in Paradise to serve them in pitchers to a big group of Krugers, Novas, and us. (When we returned, the pitchers were on the menu!)
And then we introduced them to Swedish friends Margareta & Ake - who have opened a bar in Stockholm (just kidding!)
This is the best cure for worn out golfers or sore sailors. . . .or just about anyone who has the ingredients.
For each person, add to the blender:
2 oz Dark Rum (Myers or Mount Gay, the original is Pussers)
4 oz Pineapple juice or whole pineapple
2 oz coconut creme
a glass of ice
blend until smooth and foamy
Pour in a glass and grate fresh nutmeg on top.
Serve. Have Fun.
