When I see Poubelle, the pig smiling in Aunt Daisy’s painting, while I’m preparing a meal - I hear her saying “this cooks!” (Okay, sometimes I hear a different message when I’m making bacon.)

That’s how I named my journal of favorite recipes and the ceramics I’m designing and making for the kitchen and table.

My love of food started early. I learned to cook from my Mother, Kitty. When I studied in France and lived with a family, I finished everything, earning the nickname of “poubelle” which means garbage can. Ever since, I love to make people happy with food and the ceramics I make for kitchen and table.
